We are all looking forward to the first public viewing of photographs taken by Michael Lishman of participants of Growing Well during 2010. The exhibit, 'The People of Growing Well, Becoming Well', will feature 25 portraits of people involved in our activities; volunteers, staff, students, board members, members of our Cropshare scheme. It aims to make the point that you cannot tell by looking at somebody that they experience mental health difficulties; they are incognito.
The exhibit runs from February 17th to April 26th in the downstairs exhibition space of the Brewery Arts Centre. It will then move on to the Artisan Cafe at Booths in Kendal and then to the cafe at Low Sizergh Barn. The exhibition has been kindly supported by Booths.
