Land-Based Courses

Our farm-based facilities offer an excellent environment to train students in land-based activities. Our training team can organise one-off courses for groups or let you know when our next open-enrolment course is scheduled.

Chainsaw Operations

We run courses in Chainsaw Operations at introductory level to cross-cutting and felling small trees. There has to be a minimum of 4 participants to make a course like this cost-effective and a maximum of 4 participants to allow the trainer time to adequately focus on all participants.  Please let us know if you are interested in taking a course or arranging one with your staff and we may be able to arrange one.

Tractor Driving

We run regular training courses in Tractor Driving applications leading to the standard tractor driving qualification, and can also include training in the use of front loaders.

Health and Safety

Our Level Two course in Health and Safety in Agriculture prepares anyone to work safely on a farm.  The course runs over three days and leads to a City and Guilds NPTC certificate.
