Professional Development Courses

Our staff team have a wealth of experience in organic growing, educational acitvities on farms and horticultural training. We run regular professional development courses for teachers and community growers who want to know more about inspring people to get involved with organic horticulture.

Development Days For Teachers

Click here to sign up for Growing In School CPD 1 or 2

Our one day courses for teachers are always over-subscribed and will provide participants with the knowledge and confidence to tackle polytunnel growing in the school grounds, or developing raised beds. Courses are often run collaboratively with partners such as the Soil Association's Food For Life programme, or Natural England.

Networking and Knowledge Sharing For Community Growers

Sometimes the best way to find out how to grow in your community is to see how someone does it already.  We can host your group for a day's learning at our site, giving you tips on how to start your community growing venture, or how to make it more productive.  We often host Networking Events in collaboration with the Soil Association to enable growers to share knowledge and expertise.

Contact our office for more information about these events.
