Working in our office can provide a supportive and welcoming environment to build up confidence and skills in the workplace. Volunteers work alongside our Administrative Co-ordinator handling the tasks of a busy office.
As team members get more experienced they can take on responsibilities for different aspects of our work, from invoicing and sales through stock taking and preparing for our board meetings.
To get involved in the office, members of the Admin Team need to have a basic working knowledge of common office computer software and applications such as e-mail and use of the internet. We will train you to use our accountancy software, sales systems and databases. Its all good experience in preparing for the world of work, getting used to handling members of the public and the social interactions of a workplace.
