We are a mental health charity, an organic farm and a training centre.

If you’re feeling depressed, anxious or finding everyday life difficult, then we may be able to help with free effective support for your mental health.  Call us on 07903 013648 or fill in a self-referral form on our Referrals page  and you could be volunteering in the Growing Well field or kitchen within 2 weeks. If you are health professional and wish to refer a patient, more information and a referral form can also be found on our Referrals page

Our support is free. We rely upon charitable donations to enable us to do our work. Click here to donate.

Growing Well re-opened to volunteers on Monday June 22 as part of a phased re-opening. Visitors are discouraged and by appointment only. We are accepting new referral inquiries again on 07903 013648 or email info@growingwell.co.uk.

Testimonials

I think it just brings you out of your illness because you spend so much time in your head, cut off from the world…you step out of your own problems and out of your own head and see the world again!

Talking about the effect Growing Well has had on their state of mind.
I was able to do something… I had things to offer… It made me feel valued.
And that’s what Growing Well does so well, it makes you feel valued, even if you don’t feel valuable.

On feeling valued.
Growing Well had faith in my abilities when I didn’t and have allowed me to grow and develop my role throughout my recovery. Their patience is endless but thanks to them, my illness is not.

On building self-worth.
I would never have gone to the AGM twelve months ago. I wouldn’t have gone to the open day twelve months ago.
I am really seeing how ill I was over the last five years. I do feel things have changed… Growing Well was fundamental to it.
