We’re hiring! Volunteer Support Manager (full-time) and Life Skills and Outreach Coordinator (part-time)

Our community needs your help!

We are planning for a future of greater mental health need in South Cumbria and North Lancashire and we want to help more people than ever recover through activity – on our farm and in our kitchen – supported and enhanced by a bespoke, goals-orientated, pathway through Growing Well onto employment, education or unsupported volunteering in the community.

We are recruiting for two new roles which are crucial to our mission of giving more people the opportunity to recover in our unique setting, and improving further the individual support our beneficiaries (our ‘Volunteers’) receive.

Our Volunteer Support Manager, and Life Skills and Outreach Coordinator vacancies are distinct but complementary roles.

The former is a senior role holding responsibility for the entire volunteer journey at Growing Well; the latter is a new external-facing outreach role generating new referrals, developing a new suite of Life Skills courses with community partners and recruiting a network of supporters who give their time or skills to Growing Well in a voluntary capacity.

If you have the skills and interest in both roles please apply for both roles independently, addressing the specific requirements of each role. If you want to apply for one role but express an interest in the other, please note this in your covering letter.

Full details and how to apply are on our vacancies page.

The deadline for applications for both roles is midday on Monday March 1st.
