Goulash

We were Hungary last week, so we made goulash (boom boom)

Ahem. Anyway, it was tasty, so here’s the recipe:

1 medium onion, sliced

2 cloves garlic, crushed

500g potatoes, chopped (either peeled or not depending on preference) par boiled*

500g courgette, thick diced

1 tin butterbeans, drained

1 tin kidney beans, drained

100g cooked green lentils

1 tin tomatoes

a squeeze of tomato puree

1 tbpsn paprika

seasoning**

 

Fry the onion, garlic and courgette until golden. Add the paprika. Add the potatoes. Add everything else and cook until the sauce is nice and think.

 

*par boiling is where you kind of cook stuff but don’t quite

** salt and pepper
