Red Lentil Hummus

This stuff is amazing.  I’m even going to have a go at making it at home (steady now Clairelouise!!)

 

INGREDIENTS

200g lentils
2 tbsp tahini
50g miso paste
2 tbsp lemon juice
1-2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1-2 tsp smoked paprika

METHOD

Simmer lentils in 250ml water until cooked and the water is absorbed – approx 15-20 minutes, stirring frequently.
Meanwhile, mix other ingredients into a paste.
Add cooked lentils and blend in a food processor or with a hand blender.
Taste and adjust seasoning accordingly
