We hold the Royal College of Psychiatrist’s Enabling Environments Quality Mark, which is given to organisations that demonstrate they are achieving an outstanding level of best practice in creating and sustaining a positive and effective social environment.
We chair the Cumbria Third Sector Mental Health Provider Forum, and have a good knowledge of current provision and service gaps in the county. We are the only provider of a vocational mental health service in the south of the county.
We believe that Growing Well’s practice should be as a good as it can possibly be. Our weekly staff team meetings, supervision and appraisal systems, evaluation and board reporting processes all serve to ensure we offer quality in all areas of our work.
We are Soil Association certified, CEVAS Accredited (Countryside Educational Visits Accreditation Scheme ) and as a City and Guilds Centre. We are regularly audited by Cumbria County Council’s Adult Social Care team as well as by the FE college’s that we work in partnership with.
