Our funders

Growing Well covers around 20% of its running costs from sale of produce, but to deliver our mental health support and run a safe and professional charity we rely on the generosity of grant makers, businesses, individuals and community fundraisers.

We are fortunate to benefit from a wide range of supporters and donors and appreciate the generosity of local and national organisations.

Individuals

Individual donations, large and small, make a key contribution to our funds. Regular giving every month gives us future income we can rely on, and Gift Aid boosts all individual donations by 25% if you are a UK taxpayer. To donate once or set up a monthly donation click here.

Donations from fundraising challenges such as marathons and walks also make a huge difference to Growing Well. See our fundraising page to set up a JustGiving page for Growing Well or to set up a Facebook Fundraiser for birthdays or other special occasions where you would like your friends and family to donate in lieu of gifts.

Community and events

Community fundraising takes place at events large and small over the year. We raise money from an annual Cross Bay Walk and have been delighted to be chosen as a raceday charity at Cartmel Races in 2022 and 2023. We’ll be collecting donations from customers at Tebay Services throughout the year. See our Events page in our News section for upcoming events and our News section for further updates.
